Lennie helped me get my mobility back! I was looking for a functional massage therapist that could treat chronic back pain and help rehab from an abdominal sports injury. After a series of regular treatments including deep tissue massage, cupping, and acupuncture, we made a ton of progress in my range of motion. With her impressive strength she was able to relieve muscle adhesions, help correct my posture, and perform fascial release on 15+ year old scar tissue that other providers could not assist with. Beyond the massages - she is a wealth of knowledge (truly an expert in her many crafts), a proper herbalist, and a pleasure to be around. Her custom, homemade massage oil blends alone would thrive as a separate business - herbs are carefully sought out from suppliers and infused over several months - ask her about them! I've learned so much about caring for my body during our sessions and continue to use tools and techniques she provided including non-traditional methods like laser therapy, castor oil packs, and cross-friction massages. I learned she is also a doula and can imagine how helpful these skillsets would also be for a laboring mother.

Working with Lennie was one of the best decisions I made for my birth. I truly don’t think I could have had an unmedicated birth without her support. From pregnancy through labor, she made me feel confident, comfortable, and completely cared for during such a vulnerable time.


Her birth prep classes taught me so much and helped me feel genuinely prepared going into labor. She was also incredibly thorough and responsive throughout my pregnancy, always available for questions and concerns, big or small. She even created custom tea blends specifically for my needs during pregnancy.


My favorite labor support tool was her counter pressure, it made such a difference through contractions! Her massage background really sets her apart, and she has an amazing toolbox of pain-management techniques. My labor was long, and she stayed right by my side, coaching me through contractions, suggesting positions, and helping me stay grounded.


She also made me postpartum sitz baths that I swear accelerated my healing. She is incredibly knowledgeable, intuitive, and trustworthy, and I’m so grateful I had her by my side for such an important experience!

The Best Support I Could Have Asked For

Lennie was truly invaluable throughout my entire birth experience. During labor, the TENS unit, massages, and pressure points helped me get through contractions so much easier and made such a difference.

But her care started long before birth. She helped me with nutrition, tailored stretches, supplements, massages for my sciatica, and gave me hours of education and hands-on preparation for birth, postpartum, and breastfeeding.

And after birth, that support didn’t stop. She continued to walk alongside me through breastfeeding, baby sleep, and all the emotional and physical challenges that come with becoming a mom.

I honestly cannot express how much her support shaped this entire experience. I would recommend Lennie to every mother I meet. Having a doula is worth every penny and having Lennie as mine was invaluable.

Lennie is the only reason I got through my unmedicated birth. She made me feel safe. She is professional while wholesome. She is brilliant and funny and compassionate and fiercely protective of her mamas. She carries no stigma that a birth should look one way or another but whole heartedly is there to serve you and your baby. She was literally hands on me from 10pm to 6am during my labor and never for a second did I feel alone or abandoned. She believed in me more than I believed in me. She was there to comfort every doubt and unpack every unexpected turn. I know that I could have changed course at any moment and have her full, unwavering support of me. I will treasure working with her for the rest of my life! Can’t wait for the next baby!!!

I started working with Lennie in my second trimester. During our initial consultation, I was impressed hearing that she would be doing in-home childbirth education classes with my husband and me. It was an excellent way for us all to get to know one another. Lennie has so much empathy and a genuine desire to help people. She talked me through my water breaking and worked with my husband after my contractions started because I was totally zoned out. I felt really safe knowing that Lennie was there to guide us through such a huge life milestone. I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about Lennie! She was such an amazing support throughout my entire pregnancy and birth. She was always there to answer my questions, give me reassurance, and somehow knew exactly what I needed to hear. She is so knowledgeable and informative, but also witty and funny, which made everything feel a little lighter and less overwhelming.

What I loved most about Lennie was how much she genuinely cared about me and our baby girl. And that care didn’t stop once she was born. She continued to check in on us, answer all of my new-mom questions, and truly cared about how our baby girl was doing, even helped watch her one day a week (I think she loved contact naps as much as I did). You can tell how much she loves what she does and the families she works with.

I’m so thankful we had Lennie by our side during such a special time in our lives. She made me feel supported, informed, comfortable, and cared for from beginning to end. And she definitely kept us laughing along the way! We absolutely love her and will always be so grateful she was part of our baby girl’s story. Couldn’t recommend her more!
